Rev. Katherine Riley began her tenure on the Coolville United Methodist Charge on July 1, 2008.
Rev. Riley is a graduate of Otterbein College and United Theological Seminary. Her first full-time pastoral appointment was at our neighboring Barlow-Bartlett Charge in 1987. From there, she moved to the Rocksprings-Enterprise Charge in Meigs County. From 1991 until her move to Coolville, she pastored churches in Rawson, Toledo and Sherwood, Ohio.
She enjoys people and being involved. In the past, some of her activities have included Friends of the Library, Habitat for Humanity Board, director of a group of food pantries, tutoring children at a school, and membership in a variety of service clubs. She is currently serving as Vice President of the West Ohio United Methodist Rural Fellowship.
An Ohio State and Cincinnati Reds fan, she enjoys attending sporting events as well as plays, movies and musical programs. She is a collector of churches and cookbooks, being partial to church cookbooks.
She is the daughter of Winifred Riley of Lebanon, Ohio and the late Rev. James Riley.
